Terms and Conditions
1. Approval Period
- The sample must be approved within 90 days from the date it was sent.
- If no approval is received within this timeframe, the order will be considered canceled, and all related details will be permanently deleted from our system.
- For any item canceled during this process, the respective details will also be permanently removed.
2. Setup Charges
- A setup charge will apply for all samples that do not convert into orders or are canceled within 90 days of the pre-production scan or physical sample being sent:
- Up to 5 inches: USD $30.00
- 5 inches to less than 7 inches: USD $60.00
- Above 7 inches: Charges will be confirmed with Austin Trim.
- These charges will not be refunded, even if a new order is placed after the debit note is issued.
3. Change Requests
- Once the sample is developed, each change request will incur a minimum charge of USD $15.00.
4. Bulk Production Disclaimer
- While Austin Trim ensures high-quality standards, slight variations may occur during manufacturing.
- The pre-production scan or sample may not provide 100% visual accuracy compared to bulk production goods.
- Approved samples and bulk production will utilize the same construction materials; however, a 1 to 2 mm size variance is acceptable per industry standards.
5. Physical Sample for Testing
- Customers are responsible for conducting necessary testing prior to sample approval.
- If a physical sample is required for testing, this must be requested in advance. Austin Trim will arrange for the sample to be sent accordingly.
- Claims related to quality will not be accepted after the order shipment. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all quality requirements are verified before providing approval.
6. Approval of Incorrect Samples
- If an incorrect sample is approved (physical or pre-production scan), responsibility will be shared between the customer and Austin Trim (50/50).
- In such cases:
- Austin Trim will issue a credit note for 50% of the shipment invoice value.
- Replacement orders will be charged at full value.
- All costs related to freight, duties, and other associated expenses for replacement orders will be the customer’s responsibility.
